More About Josh
In the process, a Bible believing Christian man began to disciple me and teach me about Christ. It was his knowledge of the Bible that convicted me to know whether or not I was/had been worshipping the one true God. Through the Spirit of God’s conviction, I surrendered my life to Christ and embraced His ways in August of 2004.
We served and worshipped at our home church in Canton, TX, until surrendering into the ministry in 2007. In order to be equipped for the work ahead, I went to the College @ Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating in May of 2011. I’m currently pursuing my Masters in Theology at Southwestern.
My wife Robin is one of the greatest assets to my ministry, as she is there to help me first and foremost behind the scenes, but also is very instrumental in reaching the girls in our youth on a girl/girl level. We have three wonderful children, our oldest daughter Kelsey, middle daughter Katie, and our youngest addition Zeth. Watching them personally grow in the Lord is our greatest joy.
God called me to College Baptist in May 2011 and it has been a blessing in so many ways to our family. Being at College where we are surrounded and founded on God’s Word is the greatest blessing of all. My passion is to use the gifts of teaching and preaching that God has given me to instill the foundations of the faith in our youth of Big Spring to bring about Godly change! We don’t have to compete with other churches or the world. We are about glorifying God and worshipping Him.
