According to 1 Timothy 3:4, an overseer within the New Testament church must rule his own household well. Family is my great blessing. I married Elesha Brandon in 1983 and we have three grown children who love and serve our Lord. As time allows, we chase aging parents, and a bustling granddaughter in Lubbock.
In 1996, our family was sent by CBC to pastor in Idaho. After three years in the Northwest, we returned home as pastor a second time. A heart for missions is reflected in the giving and ministry of College Baptist.
As a 1989 Masters Graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, I also hold an Agricultural Sciences degree from Texas Tech University. Having grown up in Borden County, I have a local perspective and a love for the people of west Texas.
My life has been greatly enriched by the privilege of serving the servants of CBC over the past 27 years.
