Pastor Jerry Vincent began serving as lead pastor at College Baptist Church in 2025 after more than a decade in church revitalization ministry. He has served in pastoral ministry for over 30 years. Pastor Jerry promotes a vision for making and multiplying Christ followers through intergenerational disciple-making strategies. 

A native of Houston, Jerry began his career in journalism as a sports writer and news editor in the Westward Communications Group before answering God's call to pastoral ministry. He and his wife, Shawn, have been married for 40 years. They have three grown daughters and nine grandchildren.

In addition to serving College Baptist Church, Jerry leads short-term mission trips to Romania where teams focus on planting churches among the rural Roma villages and leading training seminars to equip local pastors.

Pastor Jerry earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary.
